The Legal Clinic at IU

Established in 2013 and supported by UNDP. Jericho and the Jordan valley are considered undeveloped areas at a high percentage of poverty, as well as the lack of the main services like health and education. The Israeli isolation policies increased such problems especially after putting the area under the full Israeli dominance including the Palestinian citizens. Therefore, the area became unattractive living place. The idea of establishing the legal clinic at IU was necessary to offer legal support for the poor marginalized gatherings as well as document the assaults on human rights.

The legal clinic works on offering a staff consisting of the professional cadets of faculty of law to give legal consultation and acquire full knowledge of legal cases facing them at security institutions and military judicature.
